Weak Relationship – Weak Faith!

Matthew 7:21-23 (NLT)
21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’

25 In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people — an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as you drink it.” (NLT).

So Joshua took them to the next step, verse 23. Now they had the key to be able to keep their oath. “Put away, he said, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD GOD of Israel.
